Why join
Ask about a ferry, a neighborhood, or a dive site and hear back from someone who walked those streets last month, not a forum post from 2016.
Where-to-go recommendations come from members who went, so you skip the spots with 41,000 reviews and a gift shop.
Members save on every itinerary in the Trip Heist marketplace, so the more you travel, the more it adds up.
Nobody here asks why you’re going back to Bali again. They ask which side of the island.
Who it’s for

Hostel tips, overnight buses, and dinners that cost less than your coffee back home.

Reef reports, dive shops worth booking, and which month the visibility is best.

Wi-Fi that holds up on a video call, coworking spots, and honest notes on visa runs.

For anyone whose passport looks used and whose next trip is already half planned.

An AI itinerary sent me to a night market in Hanoi on a Monday. It was a parking lot.

I asked a chatbot to plan a day in Lisbon. It gave me a lovely schedule, including a waterfall in the middle of the city. I took two trams to get there. It was a parking garage with a leaky pipe.
To be fair, the pipe was very committed. But this is why every itinerary on Trip Heist comes from a person who knows the place. People make mistakes too, just not ones that involve inventing waterfalls.

Start small. Coffee on day one is easier than a week of shared hostel rooms with someone you met in a chat.
Say what kind of traveler you are early. If you want to be asleep by ten and they want to find the party, it’s better to know before the bus leaves.

West End is where you want to be if you’d rather walk to dinner than take a water taxi every night.
Dive shops run cheaper packages when you book five or more dives. Ask about them, and ask other members which shop they liked.

Bring your own mask. Rentals are fine until one fogs up at 18 meters.
Leave the third pair of shoes at home. You’ll live in sandals, and the rest stays in your bag the whole week.
